Test Shots

This is my two shot which is also a medium close up. I will consider
using a two shot on my product because the test shot working quite well.
It is a successful shot as it features more than one person, this gives the audience
more to look at. The framing of the shot alos works well as there is enough
room for an article either side of the image for my double page spread.

This is a long shot, although it has space for feature stories either side
and a header and a footer, it is perhaps too spacious; this is becsause the
person doesn't dominate the frame like they should do.
Therefore I will not be using a long shot for my product.

This is the group image, this works well in music magazines on
all front cover, contents page and double page spread, it is also the
perfect shot if there is a band with multiple people.
I will consider using a group image in my magazine if I use a band
or group for my artists.

This is a medium shot, this is a successful shot because the framing
involves plenty of room for feature stories and masthead etc.
I will consider using this shot n my final product as the image was a
success this time around.

This is a medium close up, this is a successful shot type
and is conventional for magazine covers, the shot has a lot
of room for feature stories and the masthead as well as showing
a clear shot of the artist. I will consider using this shot for my final
product as it will gain me marks for following traditional conventions.

This is a medium long/pose shot, this is probably the least
successful shot type of all of my test shots, this means I will
more than likely use this shot when creating my final product.
However, it will be considered for my double page spread.
